Join award-winning pastelist Lisa Skelly for an inspiring workshop in the heart of Yorkshire. Discover the unique beauty of soft pastels, pure pigment in its most direct and luminous form. In this workshop Lisa will guide you step by step through her painterly process.
Over the course of the workshop, you will learn how to capture the textures, colors, and atmosphere of classic English gardens and the rolling landscapes of Yorkshire. Giving supportive instruction, Lisa will teach the importance of strong composition, how to create an underpainting, and apply unique pastel techniques while creating dynamic, impressionist pastel paintings. Pastels will bring vibrant life to Yorkshire’s natural beauty from lush floral gardens to the classic English countryside.
